Scenario
Under the sea, strange bubbles are coming up, with funny creatures inside. Arrange them in ‘food chain’ sequences, so that they can eat each other and prevent the sea from getting too crowded!
Game Play
Ocean’s 4 is a puzzle game set in a submarine environment. The aim of the game is to eliminate as many bubbles as possible by putting them in the right order.
The sea surface is near the top of the screen. From below, one bubble at a time rises containing either a shark, a globe-fish, a red-fish, or seaweed. Bubbles pile up until one or more 4-bubble “food chain” sequences are completed. The sequences can be in straight lines, a ‘snake’ of bubbles, but not diagonal. When a sequence is completed, an animation shows the corresponding bubbles bursting. And then the freed shark eats the globe-fish which eats the red-fish which eats the seaweed.
Completion of multiple sequences is allowed. Of course, completing a sequence may trigger the completion of one or more other sequences and yield a corresponding bonus.
You lose when the screen fills up with bubbles.
Some special events enrich the game play:
- the sea level can rise and fall with the passing of time, thus affecting the difficulty of the game
- every 250 points, you gain the possibility to launch a crab that has the power to burst bubbles. You must control it properly to free the most possible space!
