4XMAS is a puzzle game set in a Christmas snowy environment. The aim of the game is to eliminate as many Christmas balls as
possible by putting them in the right order, depending on letter printed above. From the top, one ball at a time comes down
with "X", "M", "A" or "S" printed on it.
Balls pile up until one or more 4-items \'"XMAS" sequences are completed, not necessarily along straight
lines (e.g. a \'snake\' of balls is good), but not diagonally. When a sequence is completed, its balls crash and free
the corresponding space. Completion of multiple sequences is allowed.
Of course, completing a sequence may trigger the completion of one or more other sequences and yield a corresponding bonus.
You lose when the screen fills up of balls.
Some special events can occur:
- the snow level can rise and fall, thus affecting the difficulty of the game;
- a special ball sometimes comes down, that plays the role of a jolly joker;
- every 250 points, you gain the possibility to launch the Grinch, that has the power to crash the balls. It\'s your business to drive it properly to free the most possible space! Each time you use the Grinch, the corresponding points are lost.
